Privacy statement
Hello Labs BV in Amsterdam runs this website. This statement explains what the site collects, why, and what you can choose.
What this website collects
- Hosting. Netlify serves this site. Like every web server, it sees your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the page.
- Google Tag Manager loads the tools below. Google sees your IP address when it does.
- Counting visits, without cookies. PostHog (servers in the EU) counts visits, pages viewed and clicks. Until you accept cookies, PostHog sets no cookies and keeps no visitor ID in your browser. It does not store your IP address.
- Only with your consent: cookies. If you click “Yes please”, Google Analytics (Google Ireland) starts measuring and sets the cookies
_gaand_ga_*, and PostHog keeps a random visitor ID in a cookie (ph_…) and in your browser’s storage. Both recognise a returning browser. Sharing this data with Google for other purposes is switched off. Google may process data outside the EU, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. - Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months, so we don’t ask on every visit.
Why
We use these numbers only to see how the site is used and to improve it. We don’t sell them and don’t use them for advertising. Cookies are only set with your consent. Counting visits without cookies rests on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is being visited.
Your choices
You can change your choice at any time: open the cookie settings, or use the link at the bottom of every page. Declining removes the cookies of Google Analytics and PostHog.
You can ask us which data we have about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by emailing hallo@hellolabs.nl. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
When the website changes, we update this statement. The date at the top shows which version applies.
